Non-Peak (May, early Jun, late Sep & Oct) is the BEST TIME to be at the Shore. The weather is still WARM, the Beach, Boardwalk, Restaurants & Activities are ALL OPEN but the Crowds, Long Lines & Traffic are GONE! Plus the rental costs are about 1/2 of peak summer prices. You can stay 2 weeks for the price of 1 peak summer week.
HOUSE - This private house is pretty, conveniently located & CLEAN! 3 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms. All the bedrooms have clean linens (mattress pads, pillows, comforters). The eat-in kitchen is fully-equipped plus a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, blender, mixer, cutlery, dinnerware, pots & pans & lots more. The living room has a large sectional sofa, big screen TV, DVD, Playstation, Free WIFI, books, board games & more. There are 2 full bathrooms, 1 with a tub & shower, 1 with a large shower. Central air throughout. Outside there is a covered front porch & a private side patio with cushioned chairs, table, umbrella & grill. There is also a hose to rinse off beach gear & a private storage shed for your use. We have beach umbrellas, beach chairs & a beach cart that rolls over sand for your use. 4 adult beach passes & 2 parking spots included (additional parking may be available).
LOCATION - Plus this house is in the BEST location! We are only 1 block to beach, beach entrance & boardwalk. Our entrance is great since it has a food court so you can grab a drink, snack or meal & eat at the tables provided or on the beach. There are also lots of bathrooms & the beach exit has a shower so you can rinse off. We are also within 5-10 min walk to about 12 eateries from fast food to fine dining -- all kid-friendly. Also near marina with boat rentals, fishing charters, Mississippi Riverboat excursions, parasailing, water taxi & more.
10 minute walk to Jenkinson`s Pavillon & Amusement Park with lots of restaurants, food concessions, rides, games, slots, arcades (3), mini golf (3 courses), rock climb, batting cages, fun house, newly updated Aquarium, new Adventure Park with zip lines, rope bridges, etc., & lots more!
*Usually in July & Aug, EVERY WEEK there are activities including Kiddie Shows, Fireworks, Live Shows, Crab Races, Beachcombing with marine experts, Talent Show & Movies on the Beach -- ALL FREE, EVERY WEEK ! In July & Aug there are additional FREE Weekly events such as Christmas in July, Hot Halloween, Live Animal Shows, Kite Festival. etc. Also, there are WEEKLY Dueling Pianos (Monday), Adult Comedy Shows (Tuesday), Country Music Concerts (Wednesday), Bruce Springsteen Tribute Band (Sunday) & more! In Peak Summer a FREE Trolley stops steps from our home & takes you anywhere you want around town!
